Buy Loctite 290 high strength threadlocker. This wicking grade adhesive is used to seal and lock threaded fasteners up to .5”. The low viscosity sealant wicks between threads, preventing corrosion. Loctite 290 meets military specification MIL-S-46163A
Loctite 290 high strength threadlocker wicking grade adhesive is used to seal and lock threaded fasteners. Additional applications include filling porosity in castings, powered metal parts and welds. The capillary action and low viscosity of this anaerobic sealant allow it to wick between threads, preventing corrosion and rust. Loctite 290 threadlocker is for pre-assembled bolts up to .5” and requires a maximum temperature of 300 degrees (and hand tools) for disassembly. This product meets the military specification MIL-S-46163A.
